Dune Grass
Rosemary Beach, Florida
This photograph of dune grasses was taken just before sunset near Rosemary Beach in Florida. The wind is rustling the seed heads at the top of the grass and a slower exposure time allows the motion to create a contrasting blur to the sharp stalks of the grass.
The neutral color palette includes a variety of light & dark tans, warm yellows, and soft purple/reds. The dark shadow areas contrast nicely with the lighter highlights of the seed heads.
